Medi-Link
Medi-Link takes financial worries completely away from you when you have to go to the hospital for a day admission or a longer stay.
You report your planned admission in advance. Has your file been approved? Then all you have to do in the hospital is show your Medi-Link number (a 010-number). The hospital cannot charge you an advance and will send you your hospital invoice.
Medi-Link only applies to the payment of your hospitalisation invoice, so not to ambulatory costs.
How to take care of a hospitalisation via Medi-Link.

Declaration of your hospitalisation
Notify us well ahead of your planned hospitalisation. Was it an emergency hospitalisation? Then you must inform us as soon as possible. Do not wait longer than seven days, because after that time we can no longer start a Medi-Link file for you.

Approval of file
We will inform you when we approve your file via Medi-Link. Did you get a refusal? In that case, you will not be able to make use of the third-party payment scheme. However, do keep track of the medical costs you incur and submit them afterwards. You may be entitled to a refund.

During your admission
Show your 010 number at the desk when you are admitted. This can be found on your Medi-Link card or in the Vanbreda app. The hospital doesn’t charge you an advance.

Afterwards
The hospital sends the invoice for your hospitalisation directly to Vanbreda. We will settle the costs covered by your insurance. If there is still an amount that you have to pay yourself, you will receive a settlement from us.
